Conference bingo

Conference bingo

Let your next meeting be a playground of laughter (and irony)

Sitting in long meetings can sometimes feel like a test of your patience and focus. But what if we turned ordinary meeting moments into something fun and entertaining? Here, we introduce the idea of 'Conference Bingo' - a humorous way to create togetherness during your next meeting. Do you recognize yourself? Then conference bingo is for you!

The bingo card

We created the bingo card by thinking about the common scenes that take place during our own meetings. Starting from ourselves, we have developed a template that you are welcome to adapt to your own circumstances. Here are some examples of elements:

The Yawning Colleague:
A classic feature of every meeting - someone struggling to stay awake.

The mobile junkie:
Someone can't resist the temptation to check their phone every few minutes.

The impatient one:
The person who always seems to interrupt others in the middle of their sentences.

Sleeping Beauty:
When someone unexpectedly falls asleep and creates a comical pause in the meeting.

A twinkle in the eye

Introducing Conference Bingo can lighten the mood and create a common platform for laughter and hopefully insight. Here are some ways you can use it:

Hand out in advance: Send out the bingo cards to participants in advance and ask them to check off each scenario that occurs during the meeting.

Prizes and Awards: Create a playful competition by offering small prizes or awards for the first person to complete a row or the whole tray.

Reflection: End the meeting by handing out the bingo card and laughing about the funny observations you were able to make during the meeting.

So next time you're in a meeting and feel your patience waning and your eyelids feeling heavy, why not give our Conference Bingo a try?

It can turn the boring meeting into a playful and memorable experience for the whole team. And remember - a yawn, a cell phone check or a laugh is not a sign of a bad meeting but a step closer to filling in your Conference Bingo badge ;)

PS. Another, perhaps even more effective, way to engage participants is to book a conference at Utchalleningarnas Hus, where we raise the energy during your conference day with fun sessions in our challenges
